The project involves the structural assessment and strengthening design of seven existing buildings in Paros, which had remained at the structural frame stage for an extended period of time.

A comprehensive investigation of the existing condition was carried out through on-site surveys, structural inspections and evaluation of the load-bearing systems, in order to determine the necessary interventions for the safe completion and reuse of the structures.

Based on the findings of the structural assessment, strengthening designs were developed using advanced rehabilitation techniques, including bonded steel plates, FRP strengthening systems and steel element upgrades, aiming to restore structural adequacy and enhance the load-bearing capacity of the buildings.

The project also included construction supervision of the strengthening works, ensuring the proper implementation of the proposed interventions, compatibility with the existing structures and compliance with high standards of safety, durability and long-term performance.
