Our office was commissioned to undertake the structural design and engineering of a bespoke support structure for the safe installation of an artwork by Jeff Koons in Hydra, one of the most influential contemporary artists of our time.

The study focused on the development of a highly precise and specialized structural solution, ensuring the stability of the artwork, resistance to environmental conditions, and long-term protection of the artistic object.

Particular emphasis was placed on detailed structural analysis and discreet design, allowing the support structure to be harmoniously integrated into Hydra’s unique natural and architectural setting, without compromising the visual experience of the artwork.

The project represents a distinctive application of structural engineering in the field of art and cultural installations, where technical precision is combined with respect for artistic expression and heritage.
